A woman expecting a peaceful flight to Ibiza was stunned when the plane turned into a booze-fuelled party complete with speakers, tequila and passengers dancing in the aisle
Susan Berry boarded the 10am flight expecting a quiet journey ahead of a photoshoot on the sun-drenched island.
Instead, the 38-year-old found herself surrounded by passengers blasting music from portable speakers, passing around bottles of tequila and vodka and belting out songs at 30,000ft.

“I was trying to sleep,” the freelance photographer, from Miami Beach, told What’s The Jam.
“When I first heard the music, I thought, ‘Who the hell is playing music on their phone? That’s so rude.’
“Then I realised there were actually two different sets of music playing.”
Susan soon discovered the music wasn’t coming from phones at all.
She said: “One speaker was literally dangling from the roof, and another girl had a bottle of champagne and a speaker in her lap.
“At that point I realised I was the outcast and needed to lighten up and have some fun.”
The flight only got stranger from there.
Susan said: “The woman ahead of me spilled her drink all over her trousers, so she just took them off and sat there in a thong.
“I was in absolute shock that this woman was basically nude on a flight.
“And I loved her for that.”
A British passenger sitting beside her watched her reaction change throughout the journey.
She said: “At first I was like, ‘What the f*** is going on?’
“Then by the end of it, I was dancing in the aisle.”
Susan said the party atmosphere quickly spread through the cabin, with passengers eventually singing together as the flight continued.
Curious whether this was normal, she asked the cabin crew.
She said: “The flight attendants seemed to be enjoying themselves.
“I asked, ‘Is this normal?’ and they said, ‘Yeah, usually everyone’s standing.’
“They actually told me this was one of the calmer flights.”
Despite the drinking and dancing, Susan said passengers still followed instructions whenever the seatbelt sign was switched on.
And far from being put off, she says she’d happily do it all again.
She added: “Next time I’d be much better prepared.
“I’d bring my girlfriends, more booze from duty free and turn it into a proper pre-party.”
Susan’s video has since been viewed more than 95,000 times online, attracting more than 1,600 likes and sparking plenty of debate.
One user said: “Does the party find you??”
Another person added: “Love an Ibiza flight. So unhinged lol.”
A third fan commented: “Welcome to Ibizaaa.”
One person joked: “Wait till you see the flight home.”
And another person wrote: “Knew before even looking it was an Ibiza flight.”
