A holidaymaker was filmed frantically donning layers of clothes from her luggage after it was deemed too heavy at the airport check-in.
The woman stunned passengers by frantically pulling clothes from her suitcase and wearing them at the same time to dodge an excess baggage fee.
The traveller was caught on camera in the airport’s repacking area putting on item after item of clothing in a bid to lighten her luggage.

She layered numerous garments on top of each other, drawing surprised looks from other travellers who filmed the bizarre moment.
The incident was filmed at Denpasar International Airport in Bali, Indonesia, on Tuesday (16 Jun).
The clip, which has been widely shared on TikTok, was accompanied by the caption: “Be honest, would you also wear all your clothes to avoid paying an excess baggage fee?”
Some viewers praised the move as “creative and economical” while others called it “exhausting and ridiculous”.
The clip sparked debate over rising baggage charges imposed by airlines, particularly low-cost carriers.
Many airlines now charge separately for cabin and checked bags, with steep fees for exceeding weight limits – often far higher if paid at the airport rather than in advance.
Experts advise passengers to weigh luggage at home and check individual airline rules to avoid surprise costs, as reported by Whats The Jam.
Industry data indicates that purchasing additional baggage allowance online ahead of time remains up to 50% cheaper than facing penalty fees at the airport counter.
