A woman who boasts the “world’s biggest lips” has ditched the filler and opted for a new procedure – injecting umbilical cord cells into her skin.
Andrea Ivanova regularly hits the headlines due to her enhanced appearance.
The social media influencer, who has been warned against her extreme transformation by doctors, likes to push the limits and “experiment” with different cosmetic methods.
In her latest stick and poke session, she’s ditched the filler and instead, has opted for a new “innovative” material; cells found in the umbilical cord.
And despite only being in her 20s, Andrea says the process will help her to look “youthful” again.
“I feel and look 10 years younger already,” the 26-year-old told What’s The Jam.
“This procedure intrigued me, as it’s different and has an incredible effect on the skin.
“I accidentally came across a video on TikTok showing a young lady asking a clinic to have the most innovative procedure they could offer.
“Within the first few seconds, I was curious and then made an appointment right away.”
Andrea, from Bulgaria, went through with the process on 30 August, costing £645.
It involves extracting exosomes, a natural carrier that delivers proteins, lipids and DNA between different cells, and injecting them into parts of the skin that haven’t been touched before.
The results, which are usually seen after six weeks, will rejuvenate the skin and have a lifting effect due to tissue regeneration, supporting the recovery of any damage and anti-inflammatory properties.
And while the former philosophy student isn’t aware of how they retrieve the cells from the umbilical cord, she’s now hooked, with her next appointment already booked.
She added: “The doctor recommended that I go again after eight months.
“There were no hesitations from them, as my skin really needs this type of care in my opinion.
“I had no fears of any complications or allergic reactions, even though it’s not been around for very long.
“I had no pain during the procedure, only stings from the needles, which I’m used to now.
“It’s a breakthrough in anti-ageing and regenerative medicine, as it promotes the rapid production of the connective tissue cells that produce collagen.
“It’s made my skin look younger, more vibrant, supple and healthy.
“I will continue to do as many procedures [as it takes] in order to keep the youth in my face for as long as possible.
“I adore plastic surgery because [it] can change a person’s appearance to improve their self-esteem and make them feel much better than their reflection in the mirror.
“It’s important to feel happy and satisfied within ourselves.
“There is nothing wrong with a person wanting to change.”
