Villagers have been left irate after they keep getting each other’s Evri parcels following a series of blunders by their bungling delivery driver.
The courier repeatedly dropped off packages at the wrong houses in sleepy Bradworthy, Devon.
They had to take Facebook to reunite one another with their online orders in the village which has a population of just 724.
Delivery giant Evri – formerly Hermes – axed the courier following the bungles.
Deputy mayor Debra De Ste Croix said: “It’s turned into a right saga and was a bit of a laugh.

“But to be honest we’re all a bit fed up now too.”
One local called Anne said: “My parcel has been delivered to this porch but it’s not mine.
“Please can you let me know if it’s yours and I‘ll come and collect it.”
Karen joked: “Evri strikes again.
“Kelly, your parcel is safe with me, left on my doorstep today.”
A third – named James – echoed this adding: “The elusive Evri driver strikes again.
“Assuming the name and address match the same person I’ll drop it round on my way out.”
Sian got some Clarks shoes by mistake and said: “Sorry, another Evri post.
“Has anyone received my Holland & Barrett order?
“This is the photo I got.
“That’s not our floor/ground.”
Another called Tina quipped: “Joining the Evri club here, anyone recognise this place with my parcel on their floor.
“Thank you to whoever had my parcel and dropped it off.”
Jade, also from the village near Barnstable said: “I got a delivery photo of a package getting lobbed over a fence.
“Has anyone happened to see my Evri parcel?” she said.
One – named Lesley – added on their Bradworthy Community group: “Evri driver strikes again.
“Knew it was a mistake.
“I’ve been tracking my parcel and they say it’s been delivered.
“Please let me know where to pick it up.’
Lynn said: “Have been told my mum’s parcels have been delivered but not to our address.
“If any one has parcels for Kathleen please get in contact thanks.”
Another – named Dave – added: “Has anyone been delivered a parcel for me?
Matthew sarcastically said: “Just want to say what fantastic service by Evri.
“Two parcels last two days delivered and left were requested. Top service.”
Evri said it has a new driver in the village.
Bosses will be closely monitoring their performance.
An Evri spokesperson: said: “Our ambition is that every customer’s experience is a positive one.
“Despite our best efforts to work with the courier to improve performance, the standard of delivery in this village falls below our expectations and the courier will no longer be delivering for Evri.”
