A hapless OAP trapped himself in a lift with his cumbersome bed frame – and the comical episode was caught on video.
The elderly man took the lift to the 13th floor at 8:50am.
He returned less than a minute later with the bed frame in his hands.

As he struggled to fit it into the lift space, the doors suddenly closed.
It was apparently wedged between the door frame and the opposite wall.
The panicked man was fenced off from being able to press the buttons.
He apparently alerted the building manager and waited in the lift for help.
The lift then sprang to life 10 minutes later.
It descended to the ground floor where the man was met by two building workers.
However, they seemed unable to help free the wedged bed frame from the lift, leaving the man still trapped.
In the end, an unwitting resident called the lift back to the 13th floor and the opening doors freed the frame, allowing the trio to remove it from the tight space.
They eventually left the lift at 9:05am, 14 minutes after the man first walked in.
The clumsy episode took place in Shanghai, China, on 30 November last year.
The CCTV footage, reminiscent of an old slapstick film, went viral on the Chinese social network Douyin last week, as reported by What’s The Jam.
One local joked: “Like a Chinese movie!”
“He made himself a cage,” added another.
Vincenzo said: “After quarter of an hour in the lift, he ended up back where he started!”
