A penguin has been spotted strolling down the street in Argentina after taking a wrong turn to the South Pole.
The bird was spotted in Tierra del Fuego where temperatures haven’t exceeded 2°C since June.
A local woman was driving through the town when she spotted the lone traveller, as reported by What’s the Jam.

In a video she filmed, she can be heard saying: “It’s right in front of me.
“How exciting.”
In the clip, the King Penguin waddles across the snow-covered road.
It stops briefly to have a little look around, before continuing to walk again.
Buenos Aires and most of Argentina is going through an intense cold snap.
The temperature dropped to 0°C in the capital city during the early hours of Saturday, and the minimum temperature is expected to hover around that mark throughout the week.
A spokesperson from the Servicio Meteorológico Nacional (SMN), or National Meteorological Service, Cindy Fernández, said: “A resident of Río Grande, Tierra del Fuego found the surprise in the middle of the street.
“Since June, temperatures in the city have not exceeded 2°C.
“The ice on the sidewalks does not melt and remains there for several days… ideal for penguins.”
The bird is believed to be a King Penguin, the second largest species of penguin, after the Emperor.
King penguins are flightless seabirds but are excellent swimmers and divers.
They can reach depths of up to 300 metres and can stay underwater for up to 18 minutes.
