A cheeky artist has taped a Cornish pasty to a wall after similar banana art sold for £4.9million.
Cathy Davies, runs an art school for children aged six to 11 to explore their passions.
The 47-year-old saw the banana stuck with duct tape sell for the eye-watering amount.

So she thought she’d try her hand at recreating the piece.
Cathy, of Nanpean, near St Austell, Cornwall told What’s The Jam: “When I saw the famous banana art installation, I thought, what about a pasty?
“I discussed it with my little art students and it made them laugh and they wanted me to go for it.
“So the very next morning I went out and bought a pasty from the local bakery Marys.
“I then proceeded back to the studio to create the taped pasty onto a white piece of card with my signature underneath.
“I then saved the taped pasty image which is being printed professionally and hand signed.
“The original tape has been kept and signed with flakes of pasty still stuck to it and put on the back of the print for provenance.”
And, she has a sweet hidden meaning behind wanting to sell the art piece.
Cathy said: “We discussed with the kids and parents to sell the print and raise funds for our art school minibus so I can take the children out on their arty adventures.”
Locals love her masterpiece.
One said: “Laughing too much at this.”
Another joked: “At least it won’t go brown and soggy like the banana.”
Jamie said: “Brilliant.”
One amused added: “Amazing.”
Another person: “I would genuinely buy a print of this if it was a charity thing.”
The artist has also created a GoFundMe to help raise cash for a mini van for her art school.
She said: ”Reaction has been extremely positive, as we have a happy outcome to our pasty mission.”
The banana art – called Comedian – sold at an auction in New York, US last Thursday (Nov 21).
