Actress Jennie Garth has shared a video of her fitness regime amid battling the “daily minefield” of menopause and body pain.
The Beverly Hills, 90210 star shared a clip of her intense workout alongside a candid caption.
The 52-year-old podcaster shared an insight into her menopause journey, which follows her osteoarthritis diagnosis seven years ago.
Since then, she has been working as a trainer and works out heavily – something she says she has to “force” herself to do, reports What’s The Jam.

Jennie wrote: “I’m going to be real honest with you… I’ve been struggling with working out recently.
“My travel and work schedule, my body pain, not to mention menopause is a daily minefield, both physically and mentally.
“Here’s the deal…I stay motivated by FORCING myself to workout.
“I know I’ll always feel better from doing it, but recently it just feels like my body is fighting against me at times.
“I forget that there’s so much happening inside me, causing so many changes, that of course I’m not always gonna feel or be able to perform how I’d like to (or expect to).
“I have to remind myself to give myself some grace.
“I’m doing the best I can and that makes me feel a little better.”
She also shared a shout out to her trainer, Jason at Alive Fitness in Los Angeles.
Fans took to the comments section of her Instagram – which has 1.3 million followers – to laud her for her frankness.
One said: “Your honesty- This is helping women so much, Jennie! It’s not easy, but we DO IT ANYWAY.”
“The struggle is real! I’m 51 and face the same challenges you do, so thank you for your inspiration,” said another viewer.
Someone else commented: “I think I’m the only one who struggles through this. So glad to know I am not alone. I push myself through it but feel so good after I do it. Keep up the great work. You look amazing.”
“You go girl,” added another user.
Someone else said: “You look fabulous! Thank you for sharing how you feel. You have inspired so many people by doing so! I’ve admired you since 90210!”
Jennie currently has her own podcast, called I Choose Me, where she recently discussed her struggle with brain fog, while talking with menopause expert Dr. Mary Claire Haver.
The actress said: “I feel like the brain fog is another silent struggle that people don’t understand.
“It happens to me at least three times a day, where I walk into a room and I have no idea why I’m in there – that’s brain fog.”
