An urban explorer, who spent the night in an abandoned asylum, was left horrified after hearing loud noises from the floor below.
Dave, better known online as Freaktography, often shares his creepy findings from venturing into buildings forgotten in time, uploading clips of his adventures with his 88,000 followers on YouTube.
Most recently, he took a look around a 30-year-old asylum, which he claims is haunted.
The explorer even stayed overnight – sleeping on a hammock in a bid to make an easy escape if any spooky occurrences happened.

“[While visiting the site], I heard a very loud sound coming from the floor beneath us,” Dave, from Ontario, Canada, told What’s The Jam.
“It was the sound of someone dragging something heavy and metal across the floor.
“I froze and every hair on my body stood on end.
“I stood there still and silent.”

The asylum, which was previously used as a home for people with mental disabilities, is located in the U.S.
The complex and grounds were originally built on 203 acres of undeveloped land and in 1986, it was registered as a national, historic landmark.
The building is currently being turned into a hotel, with Dave claiming he obtained permission to enter the east and west wings – which remain untouched.

Despite ongoing renovations, there are many items left behind.
In his video, Dave spots what looks like an old classroom, with chairs and tables left in their exact positions.
Down the hallway, there are broken wheelchairs sprawled across the floors, as well as peeling wallpaper and rubble from rotting ceilings.
The clip has thousands of views online, with users flocking to the comment section to share their reactions.
Claire said: “Close call Dave. Glad you guys got out safely. Interesting history on this building.”
Jonathan added: “You did well to come away unscathed! Good explore.”
Someone else commented: “No way would I spend the night in there.”
Cherry wrote: “Can you imagine being there when it was first opened.”
