Heinz is launching a fiery version of its famous tomato ketchup sauce, and shoppers will be able to spot it in UK supermarkets very soon.
The limited-edition Heinz Chilli Bite Ketchup promises the familiar sweet and tangy flavour of the original sauce followed by an added kick of heat.
Shoppers can order it online from Heinz to Home from today.

It will then arrive in supermarkets nationwide from 29 September – but only in what Heinz has described as “scarily limited numbers”, as reported by What’s The Jam?
The seasonal sauce is designed for Halloween parties, late-night feasts and trick-or-treating snacks.
Heinz suggests squeezing it over burgers, chips and party food for an extra fiery bite.
The company said the sauce should contain enough heat to satisfy chilli fans without being too intimidating for everyone else.
A recommended retail price and bottle size have not yet been announced.

The launch comes as Halloween has grown from a single night of trick-or-treating into a much larger period of parties, costume planning and themed food.
Heinz said Gen Z consumers were helping to drive the trend through group chats, social media inspiration and getting-ready content.
Aditi Hilgers, taste elevation and masterbrand director at Kraft Heinz, said: “For many people, Halloween is no longer just one night – it has become a season of social gatherings, celebrations and sharing frightfully good food with friends.

“It is also a great time for tasty new products, and Heinz has a long-standing history of making the most of the occasion by bringing playful, spine-chilling creations to the sauce shelves.”
The product will be sold for a limited period, although Heinz has not confirmed precisely when it will disappear from shops.
Halloween fans will also be able to try the sauce through an upcoming collaboration between Heinz and Honest Burgers.
A special limited-edition menu will become available at all Honest Burgers restaurants nationwide from Tuesday, 6 October.
It is not the first time Heinz has experimented with its traditional tomato ketchup.
The company previously launched Pickle Ketchup, combining its original sauce with the tangy flavour of dill pickles.
Heinz has also released numerous other sauce varieties, including curry, jalapeño and firecracker versions of its ketchup.
The new Chilli Bite Ketchup will be available from supermarkets across the UK from 29 September while stocks last.
