Where did you get that cat-too? Ink-redible artist paws inspiration from peoples’ pets to create amazing life-like tattoos

An amazing artist lets pet owners get the purr-fect tribute to their furry friends by inking them with stunningly life-like CAT-toos.

Tattoo artist Yeono gives her clients the chance to have a branding with more bark or a mural with more meow.

The South Korean, who has her ‘Non From Seoul’ studio in Los Angeles, USA, can take up to nine hours etching exact likenesses of dogs and cats onto their owners.

Yeono asks her customers to bring in favourite image of their pet and as these photographs show she goes on to capture not just the likeness, but the spirit of the animal too.

And because no one ever breaks up with their pet, the animal images stay on their owners as a lasting memory of the four-legged friend.

Yeono said she had been tattooing for 10 years before she discovered her talent for recreating pets with such amazing accuracy.

She said: “I discovered my aptitude for pet tattoos when my clients started providing positive feedback, not only praising the artwork quality, but also expressing how deeply they were touched by the precise and considerate portrayal of their cherished pets.

“The love and appreciation I receive in this process are immense, bringing me great happiness and satisfaction.

“Tattooing has evolved for me, transcending mere work to become a means of transforming emotions and memories into something precious.

“My concentration and patience perfectly align with the detailed and time-consuming nature of realistic tattoos, fuelling my passion for crafting precise and high-quality tattoos.”

Some animals are harder to draw than others, and Yeono added she has had to learn how to draw those with my markings and spots, as well as creatures with curly hair.

She continued: “The intricate process of capturing every detail of fur takes considerable time, so I generally don’t add extra designs.

“Once the client and I decide on a specific photo for the tattoo, my focus shifts entirely to meticulously bringing that image to perfection.

“I used to find it challenging to draw animals with a lot of spots and curly fur, but now, it’s not the case. Instead, I find it enjoyable and fun.”
