A stranded baby shark was rescued and returned to sea by a brave hands-on hero.
It was discovered by a family trapped in a rock pool after the tide had gone out.
They alerted staff from a nearby business.

And one of them used a towel to grab the hapless creature and carry it back to sea.
It happened at Towyn, North Wales, as reported by What’s The Jam.
A spokesperson for Knightly’s Amusements said: “A little different from the usual fun today.
“We were asked for help by a family who spotted this small shark on Towyn beach.
“It was stranded in a shallow bit of water on the sand.

“Thanks to them acting quickly, we were able to help get it safely back into the sea.
“Using a damp towel to keep it comfortable, it didn’t take long before it found its way back home.
“We hope he’s off somewhere a bit deeper.”

It was believed to have been a smooth hound shark
They are found in water 5m – 50m deep and known to frequent beaches, estuaries, and sandbanks.
