The flapping organisms appeared like origami paper birds with perfect aerodynamic folds.
There appeared to be at least three of them.
The winged entities flew past a city webcam in the early hours of Monday morning (13 April).

The camera captured the strange creatures near the Gran Hotel Ciudad de México in the Mexican capital Mexico City.
So far there is no official information on the nature of the sighting with some versions suggesting they were drones, birds in motion, or even a visual effect caused by lighting and perspective.
The clip went viral on X with 53,000 views and dozens of comments, as reported by What’s The Jam.
One local said: “They are some kind of advanced drones, obviously not from Mexico…”

“They appear to be bats,” added another.
A third remarked: “They’re nothing phenomenal, they’re just pigeons flying close to the camera and the shutter speed can’t focus on them.”
“They’re some kind of moth. Here in the city, I’ve seen them with wingspans up to 30cm,” added Louis.
