A Good Samaritan who went to the aid of a stranded sheep was nearly fleeced by its ram-bo mate.
Jack Alexander spotted the ewe lying helplessly on its back in a field and dashed over to help.
But as the farm worker approached the stranded animal, another sheep suddenly appeared.

The protective ram repeatedly tried to get between Jack and the upended ewe, refusing to back down as the rescuer attempted to shoo it away.
Despite the tense standoff, Jack managed to edge closer and eventually reached the sheep, carefully pulling it upright and back onto its feet.
All the while, the other sheep hovered nearby.
It happened in Cwm, North Wales.
Jack’s girlfriend Ellie Glynn filmed the incident and saw the funny side of the chaotic encounter.

“Jack works at a dairy farm and they have two sheep,” Ellie told What’s The Jam.

“One always gets stuck on its back.
“It was his day off work but we drove past and we saw it was stuck on its back again.

“So Jack had to help out.
“He didn’t expect his friend to start chasing him.
“But we both saw the funny side of it straight away.”
