Alarmed park rangers have gone viral after discovering a huge snake hiding in a toilet.
Shocking footage showed the reptile‘s head at the bottom of the loo.
The hair-raising video gained nearly 390,000 views and 1,800 likes.

In it, a ranger is shown carefully lifting the toilet seat while saying, “Oh hello mate, don’t go down, stay up.”
The snake is then shown moving in the water at the bottom of the bowl.
And a woman says, “Oh I can’t believe this.”
It ends with the snake still in the bowl and the staff discussing how to get it out.
It turned out to be a carpet python, which kills by constriction. They can easily overpower and eat small cats and dogs.

It happened at Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park in South Australia, as reported by What’s The Jam.
A spokesperson for the South Australian Ranger Association said: “Always look before you squat.
“This carpet python was spotted chilling out in the park toilets.

“Big thanks to ranger James for safely relocating it and getting the facilities back up and running again.
“We recommend always maintaining a respectful distance when observing animals in their natural habitat, or not.
“When visiting parks, always report any facility or wildlife concerns to the local ranger.”
Viewers were bowled over by the U-bend lurker.
Kim Bawden joked: “Forget about snakes on a plane, snakes down the drain.”

Alan Specketer added: “Stuck in the sssssssss bend.”
