A British man has revealed the ‘worst Too Good To Go bag’ received from Morrisons after it was filled with only vegetables.

Elliot Jeory is well-known for finding a good deal or spotting a bargain from a mile away.

And so, when the dad-of-two spotted a bag on the Too Good To Go app from Morrisons for just £4.99 filled with mysterious goodies, he was sold.

But the 39-year-old was left more than displeased when he opened it up to find a pile of only vegetables.

In a clip, racking up 90,000 views and over 700 likes, he reveals the “disappointing” ordeal.

“Not happy at all with the Too Good To Go order from Morrisons,” Elliot, from Preston, Lancashire, told What’s The Jam.

“I’m going to be asking for my money back and I’ll explain why.

“This grocery order just contains fruit and veg.

“Now you may think it’s the luck of the draw when it comes to Too Good To Go and it is.

“However it is advertised as £10 worth of food selling for £4.99.

“But when I added the value up of all these products it only comes to £6.47.

“So it’s not £10 worth of stuff as advertised.

“I’m going to get my money back.”

Elliot claims he got a 15p lettuce and cauliflower that “looked rotten” as well as nectarines, broccoli, watermelon slice, bok choy, as well as other fruits and veggies.

He said: “Yes I can still eat this stuff, but some of it is just snacks.

“And the rest I’ll have to make a meal with food I already have.

“If you make a Too Good To Go order and it says there is a minimum amount, make sure it is.”

Users have flocked to the comments to share their reactions.

Dee said: “A lot of place are told to give a limited number of items! Crazy when the whole point is to avoid waste!”

Ronny added: “TGTG produce bags are always hit n miss.”

Sam said: “I got 1 from Morrisons a few years ago, they gave me 25 bags of brussel sprouts lol.”

Kerry said: “Deffo ask for it back!”

Honey added: “That is not £10.”

Whereas some people thought the purchase was a steal.

Dorothy said: “What, that’s an amazing haul.”

Kiki added: “I’d be ecstatic, personally receiving only baked goods is the worst.”

Someone else said: “I’d love that box.”

Elliot has previously shared how to spot the best yellow sticker deals, as well as secret bargains, and how to whip up a roast dinner in less than 15 minutes.

Jam Press has contacted Too Good To Go and Morrisons for comment.

A Morrisons representative said: “On background: We ask for our products to be £10 of full value items.

“I can see there is around £10 of full priced products in the bag based on my quick calculations.”
