A £1.1 million Aston Martin prototype was dramatically pulled over after the man behind the wheel was spotted driving recklessly on open roads.

One development driver made a right mess of testing the brand-new Aston Martin Valhalla – and ended up getting stopped by police mid-trial run.

Cops pulled the supercar over while it was cruising along long stretches of highway, after deciding the driver’s behaviour was far from acceptable.

The motor – boasting a jaw-dropping 1,000 horsepower – didn’t exactly go unnoticed.

The prototype is fitted with a monstrous 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine and can hit a staggering 217 mph.

ECSO Deputy Dylan Keele and UHP Trooper Dakota Adams were the lucky duo who got to pull the futuristic supercar over.

The pair, from the Emery County Police Department in Utah, described the moment as a ‘fun experience’ after stopping the high-tech machine.

Deputy Keele gave the development driver a quick lecture on proper road ‘etiquette’.

The Aston Martin was eventually nabbed on the I-70 near Green River, Utah, as reported by Whats The Jam.

The driver was spoken to on 25 November.

A spokesperson for the Emery County Sheriff’s Office said: “It’s not every day you pull over a prototype Aston Martin burning up the road through Emery County.
