A taxi driver hopped to the rescue after finding a wallaby wandering in a road.
Jag Alli guided the marsupial to safety after the bizarre encounter.
He had to stop traffic to protect the pure white animal which he thought could be an albino.

It was later reunited with its owner.
It happened in Dartford, Kent, at 9am last Friday, (12 Sept).
Jag said: “I was driving from Darenth to Dartford on Green Street Green Road, near the roundabout at the junction of Gore Road and Green Street Green Road.
“When I came across a white kangaroo, it looked like an albino.
“I was shocked to see this, as kangaroos are not native to the wild in the UK.

“I had to stop my car and hold up the traffic because the kangaroo was trying to cross the road but there was nowhere safe for it to go on the other side.”
Jag also told What’s The Jam: “Thankfully, I managed to guide it back the way it came, and it was no longer in immediate danger.”
Police later confirmed it was a wallaby which was reunited with its owner.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Officers attended to ensure the safety of road users and of the animal
“Enquiries were completed and the wallaby was safely reunited with its owner shortly after 10am.”
Wallabies are not native to the UK.
They are found in Australia and nearby islands and are members of the macropod family of marsupials, along with kangaroos.
They are typically small to medium-sized and have powerful hind legs that they use to bound along at high speeds and jump distances.
It is believed a small population does live wild in Britain after being released into the countryside by people unable to look after them.
