A huge crocodile sparked panic on a beach as it waddled across the sand and took a dip in the sea.
Beachgoers kept a safe distance as the reptile calmly walked to the shore in broad daylight.
It was then taken to the water for a refreshing swim.

The croc paddled out to sea and quickly disappeared from view.
The animal was unbothered by the presence of dozens of humans and did not try to attack anyone.
Locals said the croc walked among them like it was just another tourist enjoying the day on the beach.
The animal appeared in the resort town of Puerto Vallarta located north-west of Acapulco, Mexico, as reported by What’s The Jam.
One local joked: “Well, looks he already ate, they should have told him to wait at least one hour before going into the water.”

Alfonso added, “Mexico attracts tourists from everywhere.”
Ernesto said, “They should have closed the beach until they relocated the crocodile; it was a danger to everyone.”
It happened last Thursday (29 May).

The beach is located near the mouth of the Pitillal River, where crocodiles are known to live.
Due to habitat destruction and increasing rainfall, crocodiles are moving beyond the protected area and are venturing into built-up zones.
On 12 May, another crocodile was spotted on a city beach after tourists allegedly gave it food near the mouth of the river.
The authorities reminded citizens to always keep a safe distance from wildlife and never feed them.
