A pilot narrowly avoided crashing into a plane that ‘cut in’ just as he was about to land.
Michael Hutchison was approaching the runway at a non-towered airport when the novice pilot allegedly flew in front of him at the last moment.
The other plane appeared to fly overhead of his aircraft before suddenly plunging in front of Michael’s front propeller.

Michael was heard exclaiming “oh my God” before pulling up and aborting the landing to avoid a possible collision.
The other pilot was reportedly in-training and unaware of the required safety protocols for landing at a so-called uncontrolled airport, as reported by What’s The Jam.
At these airports, pilots have to rely on situational awareness and radio communication with their fellow flyers.
The near-miss was filmed in British Columbia, Canada.
Michael, who got his pilot’s licence in April last year, shared the clip on his Instagram page last Friday (9 May).

He called it “a true ‘Oh my God’ moment”.
The video went viral with 2 million views and nearly 800 comments.
One local said, “I’m landing now. Good luck, everybody else.”

Jurgen joked: “I didn’t know that BMW is making planes now.”
“Good thing he used his horn to let you know he was coming down,” said Floyd.
Another local advised: “Bro, be careful not to yank the controls like that, the stall horn didn’t sound happy. Power first and turn away if you need to.”
Michael replied: “If I tossed power first, we would have gone into the back of him. I had plenty of airspeed to trade for altitude. Tight margin, but we ended up okay.”
