Actor Jim Carrey has knocked millions off the asking price for his Brentwood, California home after relocating to Hawaii.
The star moved to his holiday home on Maui after announcing he was taking a break from acting in 2022 and was considering retirement.
He listed the Brentwood estate where he has lived for the last 30 years for sale, and has recently reduced the asking price from $28.9 million to $26.5 million.
While it will still set the new owner back a hefty sum, it’s clear to see why – with Carrey previously calling the home “a place of enchantment and inspiration” and hopes it will continue to be “a magical sanctuary” for its next owner.

The 12,700-square-foot home features five bedrooms, six full bathrooms, and three half baths.
