An unlucky badger has been rescued after falling and getting trapped in the 4ft deep pit.
The poorly critter was virtually camouflaged by black dust, gunk and rotting leaves when she was found in the hole.
She is believed to have fallen while climbing along the wall.

Rescuers from Secret World Wildlife Rescue attended the scene in Bath, Somerset, and used a grabber to pull the badger out of the pit.
Despite being cold, soaking wet and covered in dirt, she was mostly uninjured.
But it was evident that she had been trapped for a considerable period of time.
The badger is currently recovering at Secret World after being checked over by a vet, as reported by What’s The Jam.
Anisha George, Wildlife Carer at Secret World Wildlife Rescue, said: “When she was first rescued the badger was very lethargic.

“She could not keep her head up or her eyes open.
“Now she has a lot more energy, is feeding herself and behaving much more like a badger.
“She will need to gain additional weight before being released back into her natural habitat, but her progress is promising.”

The fur on her rump was so severely matted from the coal hole she was given a wash.
The team took care to wash only the affected area to ensure she maintained her family scent.
The badger will remain at Secret World until her condition has fully improved before being returned to her home territory.
