The other winner, who wishes to remain anonymous, is now also planning a holiday with the winnings.

“I was initially in shock; I just couldn’t believe it.
“Everyone has been so kind since the win, even people you don’t know will come up and congratulate you, and it really highlighted the amazing community of people I play bingo with.”
Mike Sime, Mecca’s director of Bingo, added; “We’re always delighted for our winners, but to get two £50,000 jackpot wins on the same game, playing 80 miles apart, is incredible!”
Isobel Spencer, Mecca Glasgow Forge caller, stated: “I saw the claim come in and announced that £50,000 had been won.
“The winner was in total shock as she didn’t realise that she’d triggered the jackpot and had to go outside for some fresh air.
“I’m just delighted for the customer.
“It’s a brilliant feeling to announce that size of win.
“I’ve been working here for over 27 years, and I still get excited.”
The National Bingo Game is played twice a day, every day, 364 days a year at all Mecca Clubs.
