A pup has finally settled in her forever home 190 days after she was discovered doused and burned by hot oil.
Eve was found on Christmas Eve by Niall Harbison, the owner of WeAreHappyDoggo, an animal rescue service.
He received a call from a member of staff at a local 7-Eleven store, saying there was a severely burned dog in the shop.
When Niall arrived, he found Eve lying on the floor shaking and suffering with horrific burns.

“She’d been splashed with hot oil and water giving her severe burns,” he told What’s The Jam.
“Most dangerous was the fact the burns hadn’t been treated and so the infection was trapped under the hard caked skin.
“Eve was shaking and trying to control her temperature so we took her home.
“She remained like that for two days refusing to eat or drink.

“We fell in love with her instantly and were heartbroken for what she had been through.
“It took many vet visits and cleaning sessions to get the wound healed.
“But Eve was a little trooper throughout.

“It took about six weeks but she eventually healed and started walking and even running properly again.”
Niall posted Eve’s story to social media platforms, where followers of the rescue, based in Koh Samui in Thailand, can reach out if they want to adopt.
There was a lot of interest shown, but one applicant in England stood out and Eve now has a new owner, Lola.
Lola said: “Once we were chosen to adopt her and be her family we decided to fly out to meet her and bond with her before her huge journey.
“Eve was waiting for me at the airport when we arrived, which was a very emotional moment.”
The two bonded immediately, and after visiting for a few days it was time for Lola to take her new pup home.
She said: “Eve is adapting amazingly well to her first experience of living in a family home.
“We couldn’t be prouder of her. She loves nothing more than snuggling up on the sofa, going for walks and being with her humans.”
Niall is thrilled Eve has a new home but he and the other dogs miss her.
He said: “The final piece in the puzzle was the news she would get a home and owner.
“Seeing her in her little pink bow at the airport greeting them was what it is all about.
“It’s taken six months and I’ll miss her at my feet in the office but little Eve will have the happiest life now.
“We love you Eve.”
In a post shared to social media, Eve’s story gathered over 62,000 likes and hundreds of comments.
Celebrity Robbie Williams commented: “Mate, I love what you’re doing, What is it about Dogs that touch us on such an unfathomable level? I have 8. It’s overwhelming but so is their love. The cuddle club is on the way. And I just wanted to say thank you for your kindness and thank god there is a you.
Susan added: “So pleased that beautiful Eve had a second chance at happiness. What terrible and inhumane cruelty she suffered!”
Someone else said: “Horrible that she had to go through this but amazing that all this has come from it, I can’t imagine how painful that was for her but seeing this result is the best thing ever, this is your purpose.”
