Stuart Broad is hiring waiters and waitresses for his pub at just £7.50 per hour.

The England cricket legend – engaged to ex-Saturdays singer Mollie King – owns two boozers.

He is name-dropped in the job advert for the vacancy at The Tap and Run pub.

Applicants for the full-time waiting staff role will be expected to work eight-hour shifts.

They will include working days and nights.

Job hopefuls will also have to like being “busy” and not “blame” colleagues when things go wrong.

They don’t need any experience but need to be “cheerful” and “smiley.”

However, the pay rates start at £7.50 per hour and goes up to a maximum of £12 per hour.

In the UK, the living wage for people aged 21 and over is £11.44 per hour, for those aged 21 and over.

The minimum wage is £8.60 for 18 to 20-year-olds and £6.40 for 16 to 17-year-olds, as reported on What’s The Jam.

The job advert reads: “The Tap and Run is operated by The Cat and Wickets Pub company.

“Premium gastro pubs by Stuart Broad, Harry Gurney, Lee Cash which are renowned for the warmth of their hospitality.”

It adds: “Great opportunity to join a young, growing pub company.

“We’re looking for a new team of people who are cheerful and smiley.

“People who know that the personality of the team and the warmth of service that guests receive is the single most important factor in hospitality.

“People who love being busy. And like to have fun while they work.

“People who never make excuses or blame other people when things go wrong.

“If that’s you, then you’ll love this role.”

It continues: “The right candidates will be a quick learner – we hire for personality over experience every time.”

“Outgoing and smiley, energetic and hardworking.”

Staff will get an employee discount and sick pay.

The Tap and Run, is in Upper Broughton, Notts and reopened last June after a devastating fire.

But Broad now has a second called The Griffin Inn, 15 miles away in Swithland, Leics.

His last match for England saw him take the wicket of Alex Carey to draw the Ashes series with Australia 2-2 at the Oval last summer.

He also hit a six with the last ball he faced with the bat – the first player ever to achieve that double feat.
